  1. Hi guys, me again.

I listened to the show yesterday but held off commenting until after I had seen Captain America last night which I really enjoyed. Some people, including yourselves if I recall right, were saying it ‘s too much of a set up for The Avengers and it could have relaxed more into it’s own story. I couldn’t disagree more. I thought it was a fun, comic book, full-on WWII, comic book film. It even had Red German Skeletor in it! Come on! The last few minutes were a big lead in to The Avengers, sure, and the editing there was a bit off. It could have used a few more lingering shots for the faux-ending shot and the actual ending. “I had a dateCREDITS!” And Hayley Atwell! Wowzers! She looked gorgeous in every shot, and played her role with a wily verve. In conclusion: well worth your £8 (or the £3.20 I paid on Orange Wednesday at AMC, natch).

Castamind is gone as I instructed. Good. It amused me to hear you read out my comment and Chris M’s wail of “Nooo, it’s too punishing!”. I didn’t mean it in a cruel way, just a direct way. I think you made the right decision.

Happy Birthday boys, here’s to many more!
