We know, we know; it’s been a while but hey we’re hear now so don’t bend our ears too much!
Casta La Vista is back for another fun foray into filmland with reviews of the Muppets, the Descendants, Carnage, Haywire, Woman in Black and Underworld: Awakening Corialanus and a healthy dose of our standard nonsense.
Are you ready for your first dose of Casta La Vista goodness in 2012? Well you’d better be as it’s here and it’s piping hot! As always after a bit of a break we’ve got loads of films to cover this episode so get ready for reviews of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows, The Artist, War Horse, The Iron lady, Shame, Puss in Boots, Another Earth and New Year’s Eve.
Merry Christmas everyone from your best friends at Casta La Vista! We’re here to spread some festive cheer and give you the run down of our best and worst of the all too interesting 2011. Hope you enjoy and we look forward to getting back in the saddle early in 2012!
Hold on to your hats for a festive treat as we’re joined by our very lovely ladies in the third Castalive! We got together to celebrate a fine Sunday lunch and have a nice chinwag about movies where we review (in a roundabout way) Hugo, 50/50, Moneyball, My Week with Marilyn and The Rum Diaries and give Jonathan Taylor Thomas more media coverage than he’s received in the last ten years!
Oh and as a special Christmas treat here’s the Complaint letter we refer to. Deserved anti-ded!
Do you love Gary Oldman? If so then you’ll love episode 44c of Casta La Vista as Chris goes off on a bit of a love fest for everybody’s favourite super versatile middle aged English acting gentleman. Inbetween the gushing there’s also reviews of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Change Up and Warrior and of course some TRAILER POWER!
Hopefully Brother W will have finished his jaunt by the time the next episode rolls around so we should be back up to full Casta team power by then. Big thanks go out to Adam Cadwell again for kindly guest hosting a second time (and doing it much better this time around!).
Brother Wakeman is off on honeymoon but no fear! Casta La Vista is still here to sate your filmic hunger! What do we really know about Chris’ new bride? Not a lot actually… she could end up being a Cast Murderer! (booo!) . Given this potentially horrific course of events, we thought we’d treat you to a late summer horror special!
Casta La Vista is by no means a one man sho, so guest hosting this episode is the fancastic friend of the show Adam Cadwell; listen in as he bumbles his way through the regular Casta content as we (amongst other things) review Friends with Benefits, Apollo 18 and Kill List.
Apologies for the delay Casta Fans but here’s your brand new episode, just a little later than usual. We’ve got reviews of Cowboys & Aliens, The Inbetweeners Movie and Conan the Barbarian (oh and Chris references my review of The Guard) as well as the usual fun which will leave you chewing leather (question mark?exlamation mark!)
Just as Chrazza Mazza has himself all set up with internets, Chrazza Wazza decides to go on a month long honeymoon! Never fear though friends as there’ll be some new content in the break between episodes proper with a very special appearance from a Casta La Vista favourite. Until then!
